YouTube API Services & Data We Access
- TubeBear uses YouTube API Services. By connecting your channel, TubeBear accesses the following data in accordance with your granted permissions:
- • YouTube Channel Data: Channel ID, title, description, custom handle, channel artwork, subscriber counts, total view count, and video count.
- • Video Performance & Analytics: Video metadata, upload dates, views, watch time, average view duration, impressions, click-through rate (CTR), and daily historical performance via the YouTube Analytics API.
- • Financial & Monetization Analytics: When you explicitly grant access to the monetary scope (yt-analytics-monetary.readonly), TubeBear accesses estimated partner revenue, RPM, playback-based CPM, and monetized playback metrics strictly to display revenue analytics in your private dashboard.
- • Google OAuth Credentials: Secure access and refresh tokens, account email, and granted scopes required to sync your channel metrics.
- • TubeBear Account Data: Name, email address, account role, authentication sessions, and usage counters.
- • AI Studio Inputs: Prompts, generation settings, and synthesized media outputs requested by you in the Voice and Creative studios.
TubeBear requests read-only access to YouTube and YouTube Analytics. TubeBear never uploads, modifies, publishes, or deletes videos or channel settings on your behalf without explicit user command.
How We Use Your Data
Collected data is used strictly to sync channel statistics, render interactive analytics charts, calculate growth benchmarks, route authorized API requests, enforce subscription quotas, and protect system security.
Google and YouTube user data is NEVER used for external advertising, cross-site profiling, credit assessments, data broker sales, or training generic artificial intelligence models.
Data Storage, Security & Encryption
All user data is stored on secure, dedicated private server infrastructure with strict firewall and access controls.
Google OAuth tokens (access and refresh tokens) are encrypted at rest using industry-standard AES-256-GCM encryption with cryptographically isolated keys. User passwords are stored solely as salted cryptographic hashes.
All communications use HTTPS/TLS 1.3 encryption. Dashboard sessions are protected with secure, HttpOnly, SameSite cookies.
Data Sharing & Third Parties
TubeBear does NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal or YouTube data to any third party.
Data is transferred to external infrastructure providers solely to the minimum extent technically necessary: directly to Google APIs for OAuth authorization and YouTube data synchronization, and to dedicated compute nodes for requested neural media synthesis.
Data Retention, Revocation & Deletion
Channel data is retained only for as long as your channel remains connected in TubeBear.
Revoking Access via Google: You can revoke TubeBear's access to your Google account at any time via the Google security settings page: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions
Data Deletion Requests: You can request complete deletion of your stored channel data and TubeBear user account at any time by emailing djemlik333@gmail.com. Upon receipt and identity verification, all associated active database records, tokens, and cached analytics will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
